Grandma
Grandma,
When I think about you,
I think about a Deciduous Tree.
Standing tall and green,
Full of shading leaves in the
summer.
Your leaves may fall off and cover
the ground in a blanket of
orange, yellow, and red.
But, when winter comes you stand
tall.
You hold the weight and burden of
the snow on your fragile branches,
They may crack and fall off,
But you endure the days and nights.
When spring arrives you come back
standing even stronger than the
previous year,
Ready for whatever this next
year's weather will bring.
You are truly amazing.
