Misunderstood.
Growing up I was the only girl,
Playing ball all alone,
Watching the boys play together leaving me out,
Oh, how I wish I had a sprout.
Then finally a special day would come,
The rushing to the hospital ready for her to come,
After waiting what seemed to be the longest wait of my life.
The doctor say’s “I’m sorry for your loss”.
Little baby Twila Marie didn’t make it,
I was sad for my self.
I was also sad for my aunt.
I can’t believe she didn’t make it
I thought I’d have a cousin,
A girl one to play with, rather than the boys,
With her my life was going to be gold.
Little Twila Marie, Oh how I’m so so Sorry.
