Everywhere I go
I walk around in discontent
Fake smile on my face
The kind of fake that fills all of the people in this place
Shallow as they come
And all the things they do
Flooding all these hallways
And stifling the rooms
Their beady eyes, they stare you down
And try fill your soul with guilt
And all the while they stand atop this pedestal they've built
And their depressing ways
Make so slow the days
Of hell they put me through
With crooked smiles, they welcome me
To the great state of IA
Yeah, our close-minded ways and contradictory praise
Isn't wrong, it's the only way
