i am done pretending
I am done pretending that I don’t care.
This pain is building up, and it will soon be too much to bear.
I want you in my life and my every day.
I am done pretending I don’t love you in every way.
I am done pretending that I don’t like you.
It kills me inside, and I don’t want it to.
I have you in my train of thought.
So I am done pretending that you are less than what I want.
I am done pretending that you are unimportant.
I can’t stand not knowing, I can’t ignore it.
I will just hope you feel the same way,
But I am done pretending there is nothing I need to say
