Tall with dark deep eyes,
He likes to hide and watch me.
Never talks to me.
With his crowd of fans,
Everyone loves an athlete.
Girls and teachers too.
He makes me wonder.
Why doesn’t he talk to me?
Because of his friends?
No one likes a geek.
An ordinary shy girl.
A book as her friend.
What makes him like me?
Does he have feelings for me?
Or am I a freak.
I’ve never felt this
The more I think no,
To protect my fragile heart.
The more I want him.
