The Rain
The rain outside my window
Glitters like diamonds on the pane
It drips from the top of my roof
Oh how I love the rain
The droplets hit the top of the car like grenades
They have a race for who is the most fast
The rain shines in front of the headlights
And how their light is mesmerizingly cast
I dance in the rain
And let the droplets fall on my face
I spun in circles
And the rain knows to keep pace
My hair and face are drenched
The rain keeps me sane
I can hardly see in front of me
Oh how I love the rain
