watching the birdie
I’m just an animal
No respect, suspected cannibal
Even Mr. Hannibal would be proud
Of the crowd so loud
Stuck in their own tiny cloud
Cause they’re just animals
Marching down the street
The sound of their feet
Following the beat
Of their hearts beating out of time
Like an unspoken rhyme
As they see me
Cause I’m just an animal
As I stalked them from behind
Wait..stop! rewind
I’ll help burn this into your mind
Because we can’t be defined by a single design
For the design is enough to make you blind
It shows that we’re not kind in human kind,
Our minds don’t agree
Cause we’re just animals
Life’s a waste hanging from our tree
Caged up, no rights to be free
But this is how we like to be
Cause we’re just animals
Constructive yet destructive
Eruptive and gullible to the core
We’ve corrupted the incorruptible
We’re destruction to the core
No life to be seen
No life to be heard
For nothing seems to escape our grasp
We hold everything in the palm of our hands
Yet we still demand
For we’re just animals
And we like it this way
For we’re just animals
Mindless in every way.
