Spring Dress
Playing little children.
A marry-go-round here,
A swing set there.
Spring brings about fun.
As it is time to play in the yard,
Children grab their jump ropes,
Let the games begin.
Hiding eggs in the yard.
A yellow one here,
A cracked one there.
Spring brings about hope.
In the memories you hold,
You remember your own victory,
As your child finds his own,
In the first Easter egg of spring.
Blowing flowery dresses.
A red ribbon here,
A satin bow there.
Spring brings about love.
As flowers bloom and you them away,
To the girl of your dreams,
In that pretty spring dress.
