I see the smile on your pretty face
And the happiness in your green eyes
Now I feel what’s in your heart
And who’s on your mind
Now life for you truly begins
Making mistakes
Finding your own way
And succeeding in love
It’s all a great big challenge
And I hope you learn like I have these days.
I found love
But that love escaped
It left me here
And I don’t want you to hurt the same.
I know I can’t stop what life brings at you though
So I’ll lend you my wish
“I hope you continue to smile that smile,”
And I hope, “Who’s on your heart will treat you like I did each and everyday.”

"This is about my friend, and she is moving. I always treated her with respect and kindness because everyone treated her like an outcast. And now that she is moving away I just wish her a safe and happy journey. And I'll always love her as a friend no matter where she goes or what she does, and when she needs me I will travel if I have to; to get to her."

I love the mix of friendship with the betrayal of love. It's really deep and connects to so many teens. The only suggestion I'd make is watch your use of adjectives. Ex: rather than saying great,big you could say enormous or even monumental. Otherwise... Awesome
