City of Senses
There’s a great city in the midwest
The name of that city is chicago
There, your senses are put to the test
I passed that test a while ago
When you enter downtown, you see buildings
That are tall, modern, and sleek
At night, there are lights and noises and things
In the second city that never sleeps
In the summer, the heat is unbearable
You could hear it sizzle if you listened
In the winter, the cold is terrible
And in every season, there is wind
American, italian, mexican, greek
So much different culture
And the food is just so good to eat
But you should try it just to make sure
You know you’ve passed the test
When the city of chicago is your favorite
And when you leave the midwest
You just can’t wait until your next visit
