My Missing Darling

If my love asked me to choose,
of all the senses if I had to
only one what would it be?
Well my missing darling,
I'd choose to feel.
To feel your body next to mine,
I'd say in pride.
To touch the love you share for me,
I'd whisper with intensity.
but that's only if you were here,
For now I'd response
a desire of my sight.
So in hope I one day find you,
the one I can feel and hold.
