Sanity?
Who is the one who is insane?
I am?
No that can’t be,
What is sanity if it’s just a way to confirm your insecurity about
What people think about you
So in turn the insane one is those named sane
For we seem to go so far for social acceptance
Only to find that makes us more socially awkward
We go to great lengths to be perfect
Only to be imperfect in the end
So what’s the point of sanity?
What is sanity?
It’s not obtainable so why do people want it so?
To feel like they belong?
To get along with what you would call a “normal life?”
And this brings my attention to another question
What is normal?
Is it to walk around like a drone of the society from day to day?
No…
It’s just another figment of our imaginations
Made up to calm our paranoia…
Paranoia that never seems to end…
