The 'too torn' Canvas
The canvas you choose to draw on
Isn’t capable
Possessing no hidden beauty
No secrets.
The shreds others stole are gone
The rips are intense
The shade is fading
The canvas isn’t alone
Others are tattered
Though not torn
But the posses a trait
A trait of competence
One that the canvas shall forever lack
Though the canvas has one spot
A single spot
Where, when the light hits it just right,
It gives a glow
Sending pleasure to its peers
And hope to those who feel too torn.
