Barbie.
Perfectly tanned hand stretches out to grasp his;
My heart aches as I watch her begin one of her hissy-fits;
She flips her platinum blonde locks back and sets on one pink shoe;
Her manicured finger moves back and force at his face and he doesn't know what to do;
I hear her squeal and the jangle of her gold wristlets as she flails her arms wildly;
I listen to the coo of his voice trying to see;
What could she be complaining about at time like this;
When they both seemed to have everything going for them,after that "memorable" kiss;
He forgot about me,but no one is surprised;
Our relationship was making him crazy,it could never be quite defined;
So I hid in the shadows and just saw;
As he tried to rip through her packaging,looking for something deep and something raw;
From the girl society has chosen to take my place;
The perfect girl,beating me at my own race;
She is a dream;
But my life is simply falling apart at the seams;
Since the day I lost him.
