My Music Is My Voice
I can speak without saying a word.
I can laugh without making a sound.
I can shout without raising my voice.
I can cry without shedding a tear.
I have the most beautiful voice known to man,
And I don't even have to open my mouth.
Because my voice is my music.
Listen and know my joy.
Listen and know my pain.
Listen and know every wondrous thing in my life.
And the bad things as well.
It's my cry when I'm hurt and my smile when I'm pleased.
It's the air in my lungs and the blood in my veins.
It's the sun I see every morning
and the moon I see every night.
Its what separates me from the world,
And brings us together.
My life is not a story.
It's a word, and a lyric, and a song, and an album.
It's a wink, and a smile, and a hug, and a kiss.
It's...
It's a voice.
My voice.
My feelings.
My heart.
My soul.
My music tells it all.
Because my music is my voice.
And the world is going to listen whether it wants to or not...
