Friends
I don’t understand why they’re laughing at me
I matched my shirt and shoes perfectly
I used perfume and fixed my hair
They may not notice but the style is there
I sat in the front of the class
They sat in the back and laughed
At everything I did
And all the things I say
I can’t be so uncool
No, not everyday
As I walked through the halls
I see everyone pointing and laughing
Then, someone tripped me
And the jokes they were cracking
I’m not as sure as to why they laugh
But a real good friend
Is someone I wished I had.
