The heart is like a chalice
It’s easily filled with emotions
And just as easily drained away
Your heart beats like a kick drum
Telling the story of your life
You have cherished love, and thus known loss
Easily our hearts can break
And in time slowly they heal
But the one thing a heart needs the most is love
A heart is the source of all life
It drives us to push forward in our time of hardship
And carries us to achieve our goals
I know your heart has filled with pain
But you must fill it will your hopes and dreams
And lead yourself to eternal happiness
