I live by many but here's a few...
"To wish to be someone else is to waste the person that you are."
"Everything is ok in the end, if it's not ok it's not the end."

You tell me everything wrong with you,
And everything you hate
But everything you describe,
I can put up for debate.

I want to show you how to love yourself.

You explained how you’re OCD
And how things need a place,
I see it as you know what you like
And that’s a rare trait.

I want to show you how to love yourself.

You say you get too angry
You won’t sugar coat the problem,
I find that really handy
You know how to state what’s wrong.

I want to show you how to love yourself.

You worry of how messy you are
But somehow find what you need,
It shows you have nothing to hide
Or that you organize differently.

I want to show you how to love yourself.

I can handle all your little habits
And I find them pretty cute,
But when you start to knock yourself down
Saying things that aren’t true…

I want to show you how to love yourself.

You told me your eyes change colors
From green to brown to blue
How can you find that a burden?
It’s one thing I love about you…

I want to show you how to love yourself.

You take yourself down
And call yourself horrible things,
Fat, ugly, stupid?
Those are such untrue claims.

I want to show you how to love yourself.

You nitpick all these things about you
Everything I love,
How can you say such things about you?
When I just can’t get enough!

I want to show you how to love yourself.

I’ll show you how to love yourself
The crazy way I do,
I’ll show you that you’re wonderful
And that your judgment is untrue.

I want to show you how to love yourself.

I’ll love you enough for both of us
I hope you learn how to too,
Because all this you stated
Are just reasons I fell in love with you.

I learning to build my self confidence back up from years of mockery. I think it's a beautiful thing when a person starts to realize their true beauty and I'm starting to.
