Poison
You are the poison
that soaks their ear,
seeps in and infects.
Their bitterness enthroned,
a regal prison,
no solace,
their darkness reigns.
The chains you hammered,
pounded each link one by one,
with a flick of your foul, rotting tongue.
Your tender words,
deceptive words,
caress and stain with
stinging fingerprints,
marks upon their corrupted cheek.
Stroke and squeeze their
quivering hand
in grotesque comfort,
as you twist fiery pins
into their palm,
embedding somber passion,
stealing lifeline light,
leaving no hope, no air behind
to breathe.
Here lies their soulless husk.
