Threatens to overthrow an afternoon
After Noon
Laughter Swoon
Chapter Bloom
And music leaks sulkily from the speakers
Can't be heard over lowered windows
and shouts
Changed routes
Doused doubts
Growing up costs invincibility
We think
But maybe it's the other way around
And we were never meant to be invincible
Invisible
Dismissible
Divisible.
