On the Day
I wonder what month I'm going to die in. I hope it's a beautiful month, and that it's the best month of someone's life. I hope that on the day I die, a girl gets her first kiss, and that she'll be so overjoyed and filled with a bad case of the butterflies. I hope that on the day I die, a flower bud blooms for the first time, and that someone notices. I hope that on the day I die, whoever cares for me and whoever tried to make me happy, I hope that they don't mourn for too long. Instead, I hope that they celebrate the life I had, and that it makes them reflect on the life they're living, and that the next day they'll try and live it differently.
