I Loved You
I loved you
I loved the way that you would smile at me in the hallway
I loved the way your hand would magically slip into mine
I loved the way that you told me that I was beautiful
I loved the way you hugged me
I loved the way that you wiped away my tears and told me that everything is going to be ok
I loved the way you took me in your arms and kissed me
I loved every minute we spent together
But, why did you leave me?
Did I not talk to you enough?
Did I not hug you enough?
Did I not love you enough?
You hurt me, and it’s over.
That’s because instead of me loving you,
You stopped loving me.
I loved you.
