Journeyers
There are those of us
Who can’t find our place
In this never-ending world
And yet we strive
As we pass by the others,
Content.
They may sit in place
While we move onwards
Never sighing agony,
Never stopping
To rest
Like they do.
We seek a corner
To place
Our souls long forgotten,
Our thoughts unheard,
Ourselves,
Overlooked.
If we never
Find what they have,
We will continue
Heads held high
Never pausing, because
We are the journeyers.
