Sun and Moon
The sun and moon are masters of deception
They specialize in fanatical faking
Astrological hypocrites
With a smirk on their faces
The sun begins its dishonest occupation
By shining as gold in the morning sky
Warming the faces of innocent children
Only to mask its dark secret
For in the night, the sun puts on an evening gown
One as dark as coal and as malevolent as death
It bathes in clubs and casinos
And it lavishes those who gratify themselves
The moon commences its evil plot
By shunning its face in mornings light
Ashamed of its past and afraid of its future
It hides and runs from its nuisance
In the night, the moon wipes its tears
It dresses in a gown as white as snow
Nothing to be embarrassed by
No mistakes to conceal from man’s eyes
Yet both the sun and the moon are not as they are
For the moon is not really white as snow
And the sun is not really as bright as gold
Both deceivers living in a deceived world
