The Compassionate Courage
The side of these mountains proves heavy and barren
And I pray for some sort of relief from him
One idea keeps me going
Despite all blood, aches and original sin
A raging memory spawns in my heart
My soul enraptured with emotion
I recall your face from worlds apart
And remind myself of my devotion
For all sides of the sphere have fallen
And my world comes to a bitter end
But I beg that you will remember my calling
And feel the love which I so thoroughly defend
For if one day the Gods are willing
And the sky shines bright with great sun
My spirit empty and in need of filling
I will return to you and my endeavoring journey will be done
