When I was younger
I’d dance around the kitchen
In my pajamas
Not a care in the world
When I was younger
I’d go help you outside
I’d jump in the leaves
Or play in the snow
When I was younger
I’d go skating on the pond
And I’d know you be there
To catch me if I fell
When I was younger
I’d sing way out of tune
But you would just smile
And say it sounded great
When I was younger
We’d go out and play soccer
And you’d say I was the best
Even though I wasn't
I miss those days
When we were so close
When everything we did
We did together
