Hallways of Death
Wandering the hallways continuously
 Never ending
 Twisting
 Turning
There is chanting from somewhere out there
My mind is in a haze and I have no where else to go.
The darkness has eaten away my sanity
 I have nothing.
 I remember nothing.
There is some light nearby yet far away
I have seen archway after archway.
The floor beneath my feet creaks and groans with each step I take
As the wind blows around this hollow place, I hear it moan as if this place is
 Alive
 I see shadows here
 Over there
Like claws reaching out to grab me

As I continue forth towards the light, the chanting is getting louder
I can hear foot steps other than my own
My heart races, my brain stops, I stand there for a second
 I run
My heart pounding, my legs aching, the floor beneath my feet
 creaking
groaning with each pounding step I take
 I am wearing a necklace
it is starting to flail in front of my face
While it is bobbing up and down on my neck, it jangles
I see a heart shaped piece with a key on the necklace
 My breaths are becoming shorter
 My sight is leaving me
The chanting is growing louder with each step I take.
 The light is becoming blinding.
As I round the corner, there are people walking in two lines., all wearing white robes all carrying candles all having the same skin
 Pale white
I try to shout out to one, but they walk on as if they are unable to hear me.
I continue forward and try to get a closer look, but they seemed to fade as I walked closer
 My brain seems to stop
My head is in great pain
I am stuck there looking at them as they walk
Those eyes like sockets of a skull,
 That pale white skin
 The pale white robes
That is the last thing I see, before I fall to the ground
 To see nothing but black.
