My Friends
Another lonely day on the pond,
they all left me;
the friends of whom I was so fond.
I don’t know where they have gone,
they all left me;
now I have no friends to meet on the lawn.
I wish they would come back,
they all left me;
too many flies for just me to attack.
I will hop all alone because
they all left me;
it’s time for some new laws.
They are all going to disappear.
They all left me;
this is my biggest fear.
No longer on their favorite logs,
they all left me;
please save my friends, the frogs.
