"They tell us sir that we are weak. Unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when will we be stronger?"

Crimson clouds churning
Balefire for the deeds of man
The judge fuming

A sunset out my window
Will night extinguish the clouds?

The author's comments:
The White Throne is a biblical allusion to the Great White Throne Judgement in Revelation 20:11-15. This is when the Judeo-Christian God is believed to judge the deeds of mankind. When I wrote this, I looked out my window and pretty much say the apocalypse in the sunset. (A tanka poem.)
