I woke up to a black and blue sky, and the remnants of dreams and memory,
crowded fate and misery: bloody wings and stained pages
flickering like fireflies
at the back of my mind.
It was why I feared
this lost and faceless
world of sleep and light
afraid that I would never truly
wake, or just continue
to mix truth and lies
with dreams being memories
