My Blood
You say you're my blood
And you can read my face
You say you'll never hurt me
But do you see what I see
Horrors in my face
And fears that become reality
I lie to protect your happiness
It draws away from mine
I found something
And now you'll pulling it from my grasp
I'm trying to hold on
And trying to hide my eyes
Because once you see the truth
I don't know who will be affected
It's a double blades sword
And I don't know who holds it
But it doesn't really matter
You don't seem to care
Would you be ok
With me being treated
The way you treat women
A guy talking to me
Along with 8 others
Breaking my heart
But how can you complain
When they play the game you live by
How can you be so consent with yourself
When you're only hurting yourself
How can you be consent with this
When you're hurting me
If I am you're blood
And you know me like you think
Why do you continue this lifestyle
And pretend like I'm ok
If you can read me like a road map
Then why don't you go the right way
