Red is fire, burning in the heart, driving man and beast alike to abandon civility and domestication.
Red is four and a half billion years of instinct clawing its way out, rearing its feral head.
Red is my duty to love and hate, to yearn and scorn.
Red is the womb from which I emerged into a world of sirens and horns and static.
Red courses through every vein and capillary, for beyond this pink sheath of skin and hair, I am only red.
I am a primeval beast with a private school education, and all I see is red.
