On Changing the World
I'm an endless edifice, the tallest of towers.
Yet how did I feel in the absence of power?
Never did I hear such poignant words spoken.
Do not hide and emerge unbroken!
Swallow your sadness to flank the forlorn,
Delight the downtrodden and mend all the torn.
Arrange an army, a brazen battalion.
Earn all their loyalty, unite and rally them.
Arm the troops, give them knives.
Equip them well to sever these ties.
Call me nuts, but I am no squirrel.
A few good people can change the world.
