Burning in frost
Suffocating in air
There’s no way to flee out from here
Pale-skinned and hypnotic
Dark-rimmed and psychotic
These memories flow in sync
The content ones pull you into a twisted overdose
While the grim ones destroy every sense you own
Your mind decomposes of memories you needed to erase
Yet throwing away the bad means throwing away the good
Keep your mind within this box
Contemplate and decide
Rely on the good
Like you rely on heroin
Keep injecting them into your skull
Have them shoot into your cerebral cortex
Aiming straight to your amygdale
The moment you reminisce
Your mind goes into overdrive
And soon these tunnels will accumulate with light
Demolish the bad
Like you demolish these snakes
Swat at them with swords
Untangle the webs of such remorse
