My Opinion
Explain this to me.
Can you do that, please?
Why do you think you aren’t pretty?
Why do you think you aren’t smart?
Why do you think you aren’t worth it?
Here’s what I have to say:
No, sit and listen.
You are more than pretty, you are beautiful.
You are more than smart, you are intelligent.
You are more than worth it, people aren’t worthy of you.
How can you not realize how wonderful you truly are?
How can you not see what I see?
How can you believe that you are not good enough?
You can be anything you want to be.
A singer, dancer, actor
A lawyer, doctor, teacher
A star
You have that quality.
Please believe me, won’t you?
Because I do.
I know you can do it.
There are so many possibilities out there.
I believe in you.
There’s not much else I can say,
Just that you are amazing,
And you should believe it, too.
I wish you could love yourself
Half as much as I love you.
