Staring at the red sky
as the sun is busy setting
Silence all around me
no-one is here to be fretting

It is the moment of peace
that ive been longing for all day
sitting here outside
as my problems slip away

It is a rarity
this peaceful state of mind
This world of ours moves so fast
and often we get left behind

i get to put all my worries
on the most distant shelf
