I am a small,majestic Red-tailed








hawk that lives in a small nest








that's perched in a redwood tree









I am a bird that loves to fly all day










and hunt all night









now you might think I'm an ordinary








Red-tailed hawk but I'm not










I am a bird that loves to sing when










I soar through the blue sky









I will just sing and sing until I find my








prey then I am as quite as a mouse









I also look for mates while I soar








through the cool blue sky









now it sounds like I'm an ordinary bird









but there are some things I can do that










the other birds can't do









I can also read and write poems with












my hands
