A Metaphorical Love Tale
I've never been the type
Always been the stange one
Never understood
Always indifferent to others
You remind me of winter
Frozen heart, ice blue eyes
But underneath that snowy blanket
Is a layer of lush, green grass
When I got close, you shut me out
I have a guard to, you know
Years of built up emotion
Raw and powerful
You know how you make me feel
Cause you feel the same
If I was your only addiction, that'd by my high
Too bad I'm not heroin
Maybe one day
Not any day soon
We will sort out out differences
Until then, I will silently suffer the pain
I love you
