American Slave
Were just slaves that pray upon our masters feet
How are we suppose to treat this neglected race
That live in discrace my father was told to never
Run away no hope only this false freedom dream
You hear the slanderours remarks they only repeat
Having shakles on a childs wrist till theres imprints
Americas heartless days with no compassion for human
Life, we trade humans like their some type of merchandise
But change is coming, I know it is I look up everynight praying
To the skies for a better life just seraching for the right
To become a different me but I will always be
A slave to this freedom dream
I know who I am I just want to be free to become
the person I could only dream but I wake up a see
what I truly am, An American Slave
