Amends to the Dead
Their bodies lay rotting
Blood no longer clotting
Thining, inches away from imbalming
Laying in nothingness while maggots start crawling
Dressed in silk stockings
Widows weeping
Children sobbing
The preacher
The pastor
The clergy men pray for silence of the screaming child
Chorus boys hold hands in tears
Flowers that were uprooted
Melencoly sound muted
It is concluded that this is an undisputed jesture of gods work
No longer in needs to the amends of the dead
