Roars
Nothing sounds better than the screams of the people around me.
They get louder and louder.
I can feel it deep inside of my soul.
The people feed off of each other’s energy.
They also feed on meager scraps of nourishment.
They laugh as if there is no place they’d rather be.
Eyes all fixed on the center of the amphitheater.
Seeing all of the possibilities.
A simple, “GO PACK GO” floods sound through the stands.
A Lambeau Leap puts Jordy Nelson’s hand in my hand.
The excitement and joy encompass me.
The end was much better than I thought it would be.
