I Am The Smoke
You think me a man - you fool,
For I am no man, you poor fool,
A jackal, perhaps, for I scavenge,
A pit, perhaps, for I echo,
But you think me a man - what a fool!
I am but the smoke in the glass,
a wicked man in a mask,
A mirror that begs to adore you,
A soul that yearns to destroy you.
You fool - poor fool,
who shall I be today?
