Things I love (YOLO)
I love the feel of lush grass between my toes;
the feel of the dew, wet on my feet.
I love the splintering wood handle
of a paintbrush in my slender fingers.
The way the sky bleeds color at dusk
reminds me that morning is coming soon.
The stars are friendly;
they wink and smile; I love that too.
I love the way the ocean waves to the seafoam
as it leaves the mass of bubbles behind.
The suspense in a good book always
leaves me hanging, I love that too.
The way a mama bear plays with her cubs
gives me hope that I will be a good mother.
I love the warmth of a hug,
it always makes me feel better.
That rush of adrenaline like you’re
on a roller coaster; yeah, I love that too.
The tick tock of a timepiece
reminds me that I only live once.
