The Alarm
At first,
you’re fine.
Eyes bright,
laughter,
no fear.
Then!
A bell
a shout
a distant scream
The writhing
Demon
fights though
your
throat and
into
your stomach.
Something
strange is happening
Cold, slime
ripples down your
forehead.
Palms are no
more dry than the
magnificent
Ocean.
Vomit, could it be?
What is causing such
fear?
Everything could go wrong
nothing will ever be the same
What could it be, you ask?
Oh, just anxiety.
