Poem For Two Voices
Love
Give it to me.
I yearn for it.
I deserve it.
I thought she was
Mine
She belongs to me.
I get my
Strength
From within myself
From outside myself.
Attention
I long for it.
To function.
But I don’t need it.
I can’t exist without it.
Life
A second chance
My only chance
For her to love me.
Why wasn’t I the one she chose to
Kill
Me once, but I’ll never disappear
Red
Like the blood I spilled to stay eternal.
Like the loving heart I’ll never know.
