I sit on a bench
I wallow and watch
The stars shine bright
Up high in the sky
My soul filled with sorrow
Slumps to the depths
Of my broken heart
Why?
Is the question
That runs through my mind
Life can be cruel
Earth shattering
Torture
How am I going to rise
From a place so dark and glum?
With the help of love
Friends
Family
Who always surround me
What I realize
I am never alone
