Coffee Shop Dreams
Espresso-colored hair
Vanilla-Hazelnut skin
White Chocolate eyes
There you are again
You're careless
In the best way possible
Always smiling
Confident
Yet, thoughtful
But I don't know you
And likely never will
I don't know your name
Where you're from
Or if you're just another girl
In truth I'd rather not know
Taking chances isn't my scene
And while you're one of a kind
I'm just...me
Life is great, however
And what is life without dreams?
It must be worth the wait
If someone like you could fall for me
Maybe if I came off as smarter
If I was better looking, or even a bit taller
Would changing these things really matter?
All I really want is to be admired.
Admiration is a tricky thing
In my eyes, it's a gesture;
Something simple, yet sweet
But even romantic if need be
So, Ms. Mystery
This is my Poem of Admiration
To You
From Me
