I am surrounded by big cold walls. Its dark in here but I know I’m safe. Safe from ever getting close. Nobody can knock them down nobody has even come close. I’m so guarded, that’s just the way it is. Push pushing people away those who care. I’m sorry, please leave me alone, no stay, just leave now. I’m alone now nobody left to push away. Reality saying is this what you want? To be alone? I say its better this way I won’t ever get hurt. Being alone that’s all I’ve ever been. Aren’t you tired? Do you want to feel love to feel care for someone? THINK thinking to myself… I slowly stand the walls fall. Taking baby steps out of this dark place, it’s so bright out here, so colorful, so peaceful so warm. Seeing these strange faces smiling at me but I smile back. Recognizing theses people the ones I pushed away, they are still here. Waiting for me.
