Danger Within!
Sitting in a corner all alane is he, Quiet as a mouse no one dares to bother, But a little, little girl who seemed to be free, No one knew of the danger in the man she calls father.
When the clock struck two it was time to scurry home, She waited and waited but no one had come, She takes care of the bruises she has of her own, A stranger on the street asked, " Where did they come from?"
She runs and runs as fast as she can, Everyone she knows is nowhere to be found, She wears on her wrist a trackable band, As drunk as he could be he beats her to the ground.
Sitting in an alley all alane is she, Quiet as a mouse no one dares to bother, But a little, little boy who seemed to be free, He had finally seen the danger in the man she called father.
