Behind Broken Glass

I wonder everyday what mask I shall hide into today
As I look in the mirror I believe its true
It must be the mirror
staring back at you, like your a monster
As I place this somewhat called mask on my face
Realizing that there's no enemy but myself
Hiding in the shadows on the earth not wanting to be seen
Telling lie after lie to be seen
As time goes slowly by, I look for my place in life
Thinking that rescue will come
only to realize I'm the only rescue for myself.
Realizing life maybe like hiding behind broken glass
